Ferragosto BBQ & Bocce

Come celebrate Ferragosto with your Dante Society amici (friends). Enjoy an afternoon of Italian BBQ with Italian sausage sandwiches, salad, dessert, wine and other beverages, music, friends, and a fun bocce tournament under the beautiful redwoods.

Mangiamo - Food / Picnic

Board member John Racioppi, along with other Dante members, will be grilling & preparing traditonal Italian Sausage sandwiches, with grilled onions and peppers. We will also have green salad, fruit, and desserts. Buon Appetito! 

Beviamo - Drink

We can't have an Italian event without some wine🍷 to enjoy, so every ticket includes a glass of wine.

This is Italian-style, so if you would like to, feel free to bring a bottle of wine, beverage of choice, appetizer and/or dessert to share.

Ci divertiamo - and for fun....a "Bocce 7s" Tournament 

Come with a team of 2-4 players or if you want to play and don’t have a team, we’ll find one for you! It’s a simple eliminaton tournament. Games are to seven points. There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. If you don’t know how to play, we’ll teach you! All are welcome. Members of Team Dante will be there to help. Enjoy Italian music while we all “Let the good times roll! “

Cost: Dante members *$20 per person | non-members $25
