Brunello, the Gracious Visionary Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore
An inspirational portrait of a farmer’s son who rises from humble beginnings to build a luxury fashion empire, Brunello, the Gracious Visionary traces the pivotal moments that shaped Brunello Cucinelli’s life and career.
The film explores Cucinelli’s commitment to craftsmanship, ethical values, and a humanistic philosophy rooted in meaningful relationships and a strong sense of community. Known as the “king of cashmere,” Cucinelli transformed the medieval village of Solomeo into the home of his company and a center for his vision of humanistic capitalism.
Directed by Academy Award winner Giuseppe Tornatore (Cinema Paradiso) and featuring a score by Academy Award winner Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful), the film blends documentary and fiction to offer an intimate portrait of the renowned Italian entrepreneur.
