Dante Alighieri Society of Santa Cruz 20th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating 20 years of the Dante Alighieri Society of Santa Cruz, decidated to the study and promotion of Italian language, art, and culture in Santa Cruz County.  

The Dante Alighieri Society is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that promotes Italian culture and language.  Data from the National Center on Charitable Statistics reveals that approximately 30% of nonprofits fail to exist after 10 years.  Thanks to the dedication of our volunteer board members (past and present), our Dante Society members and Sponsors, the Dante Alighieri Society of Santa Cruz has continued to provide a film & lecture series, Italian language classes, and special events for 20 years!!!  Grazie mille, a tutti !!

Come socialize with the Dante Board and visit with other Dante members. Hear about activities we have been doing and what we are looking forward to in the next year.

Learn to dance the Tarantella, enjoy Italian music, and see the Historic Photo Exhibit of Santa Cruz’s Italian Heritage curated by David Terrazas & Geoffrey Dunn.

Italian appetizers, wine, tea & coffee will be served.
