About the Event
Campania is the most densely populated region of Italy, full of life, Mozzarella, and folklore. Home to Pompei, this region packs a punch in flavor and personality: it boasts many diverse wine styles, which means many exciting options to choose from!
In this class, we’ll taste a wine from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius called “Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio.” We’ll craft a colorful, hearty, and seasonal salad that combines two classic Italian dishes and throws a California spin on it. Servings are enough for 2 adults. (Only 1 Ticket required per household)
Our hosts and instructors for the evening will be:
* Chaney Janssen, a Certified Wine Specialist & Italian Wine Scholar.
* Meghan O'Connell, a Chef and Master of Public Health.
In advance of class, participants will receive a PDF with the full shopping list and suggestions on where to purchase the wine we’ll be tasting.
Waiting room will open at 5:15 pm
