Service Description

This course is a continuation of the beginning class. Its objective is to further develop students' competency in writing, reading and oral communication. You will refine the use of verbs, grammar and idiomatic expressions, enrich your vocabulary and express yourself with greater confidence. Instruction will be online via Zoom, however one Saturday a month students can meet in-person to practice conversation at "Una tazzina di caffè ☕️" at Pacific Coffee in Aptos. Check under Events for dates and to sign up. Course Goal At the end of this course you can talk about activities, express opinions, agreement and disagreement. You are able to describe what you did yesterday and will do tomorrow. In grammar, you are confident using the Present Tense, and know the conjugation of verbs in the Past Tense and Future. You can use simple and combined prepositions. Required Text ​Italian Grammar: A Self-teaching Guide by Edoardo Lébano. We will cover Chapters 6-10.
