Service Description

This course will deepen students’ knowledge of Italian language by learning more complex grammatical structures such as the impersonal construction, the comparative and superlative, the conditional, gerund, past perfect and subjunctive tenses, and a richer vocabulary. The teacher will put particular emphasis on conversation and listening comprehension. Instruction will be online via Zoom, however one Saturday a month students can meet in-person to practice conversation at "Una tazzina di caffè ☕️" at Pacific Coffee in Aptos. Check under Events for dates and to RSVP. Course Goals: At the end of this Level students will master the use of different verb tenses, improve fluency and vocabulary. Required Text: ​Italian: A Self-teaching Guide by Edoardo Lébano. We will cover Chapters 11, 12, 13.
